Frequently Asked Questions
Here is a collection of FAQ's that potential franchisees are asking.
Absolutely. All Laundré stores cater for customers using whatever preference of detergent they like. Some laundromats have built-in soap injection systems, but our customers tell us they prefer to use their own detergent due to skin sensitivities, personal fragrance preferences and treating different types of stains with different detergents.
Our smallest machines are $7 per wash. which holds about 9kg of washing.
Your average domestic washing machine holds approximately 7kg.
Our largest machine holds 28kg, which is $16 per wash.
Absolutely. We offer our own 'Laundré Pods' available in-store for $3.30 with each pack containing two pods. Simply throw a pod in with your washing and select start. These pods have dissolvable casings, so no need to cut them open - just thrown them in!
The most important factor for optimising your dry-time is air circulation. As long as your clothes have plenty of room to tumble and fall, you will achieve the quickest possible dry time.
If you have a large amount of washing to dry, consider using splitting it up between multiple machines instead of stuffing it all into one. You will end up spending more if your laundry is too compacted, as the dry time will take far longer.
Our large machines is $1 for 5 minutes, which is approximately three times the size of your typical domestic dryer.
Our extra large machines are $1 for 4 minutes, which is approximately five times the size of your typical domestic dryer.
No we don't. All Laundré stores are card-only. We've opted to be entirely cashless for a few reasons but the main one is to improve the overall hygiene of using a laundromat. Other reasons include a reduction in coin jams and minimise loitering/burglary.
We are open from 5am - 10pm every day of the year! That includes all public holidays (even Christmas Day).
Yes! All Laundré locations are chosen with ample parking within a close proximity to the laundromat entry.
No we don't. All Laundré stores are self-service. Regular customers say they like using the laundromat when an owner isn't there using all the machines and making them feel like they are in the way. Laundré is a service for the community, not for the owner.
